Overdraft protection
definition
What does Overdraft Protection mean?

Overdraft protection literally means that your checking account, savings account or even credit card account is protected against over drafting by simply having linked to it another banking account. Thus, two banking accounts can be connected among themselves, and when your credit card is running out of the funds for example, there will be transacted funds from your linked banking account. This is a very good way of avoiding over drafting of your account, and if you dispose of the necessary funds within another account it is advisable that you take on this option. This way you can stay away from unnecessary extra fees payments, and other payments which incur with over drafting.
